Description Anna Vyalkova 2024-01-16 14:33:49 UTC
https://fosstodon.org/@gentoo doesn't have the green verification mark.

To add it, an <a rel="me"> link need to be placed on the website (it could be
visible or not).

Who has control over the https://fosstodon.org/@gentoo account?
We need to confirm that it's in official Gentoo hands before we verify the account.
Comment 2 Anna Vyalkova 2024-01-18 06:59:00 UTC
It's official because listed here:

That doesn't tell me who has control over the credentials to post - I want that documented somewhere internally at least.
Comment 4 Anna Vyalkova 2024-01-18 20:48:11 UTC
It's documented on project's wiki.

For that either credentials/tokens need to be shared or some SMM tool needs to
be used (most likely paid).

I'll reach out alicef to see if we can get shared access. Per our PR team's policy, we should not have a bus factor of 1 on any of the social accounts if it can be avoided.
