Please, read the section on perl ebuilds in  http://www.gentoo.org/proj/en/devrel/handbook/handbook.xml?part=3&chap=1#doc_chap1 and explain, why this ebuild is needed in portage.

thanks for the submission -- for perl modules we only accept ebuilds which are dependencies for other programs/libraries.
