in the whole English/amd64 handbook the efi-partition is mounted at (chroot)/efi In German/handbook (although still parts are in English) it is referred to /efi too. But on German grub-Installation it uses the command "grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot" what can't be true in any way. I would have expected "...--efi-directory=/efi" as in the english translation. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Tun to german gentoo handbook 2. install Gentoo with the guide 3. fail at "grub-install --target=x86_64-efi --efi-directory=/boot" Actual Results: grub-install complains this is no EFI partition Expected Results: grub-install installs in the efi-partition in /efi I don't absolutely know how serious this is and how I should report it. But it should be fixed, so that noobs as I definitely once have been (somehow still now) don't get frustrated at the end of this great handbook.
