This is a new ebuild for the Torrentocracy plugin for MythTV. 4 required patches are also included: torrentocracy-0.0.11-settings.patch - sets some hardcoded settings correctly for the Gentoo environment torrentocracy-0.0.11-mainmenu.patch - Add Torrentocracy entry to the MythTV mainmenu torrentocracy-0.0.11-settings.patch - Add Torrentocracy entry to MythTV settings menu torrentocracy-0.0.11-bittorrent.patch - set the correct path for BitTorrent Torrentocracy is a XML feed parser for the media centre suite MythTV. Its main use is to parse XML feeds to find Bit Torrent metafiles, allowing the user to download multimedia content delivered via the Bit Torrent protocol from within the MythTV interface. All the info is available on http://www.torrentocracy.com This ebuild performs all installation steps, including editing the MythTV menu which is part of the MythTV package, not great. Patches for all changes are backed out upon an unmerge. This ebuild is required to be installed with FEATURES="-sandbox" as a result of the monkeying with the MythTV menu. Torrentocracy depends on MythTV 0.18 and a recent BitTorrent. It may work with earlier versions than that stated in the ebuild, however the versions ive set are what I run at and have found to be stable. The ebuild has been tested on 2 systems and all seems fine. Cheers guys, Richard Ablewhite - http://www.bewhere.co.uk
