apr-0.9.5-r3 and 0.9.6-r3 have LFS support removed. This is only stated in the Changelog. It's probably a good idea to tell the user to rebuild apache et al.

Reproducible: Always

ewarn patch

I am bored and made a patch by just copying the Changelog verbatim. Not sure if
I used diff correctly and if I got the word-wrapping right. Be gentle, I'm a
"patch virgin" :)

This doesnt't work for me.
dev-libs/apr-0.9.6-r3 breaks my apache2. It dies with segfaults.
Also subversion doesn't work anymore.
Comment 4 Lasse Bigum 2005-05-10 06:28:11 UTC
Subversion breaks too, reemerging it fixes it as well.
Comment 5 Michael Stewart (vericgar) (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-09-17 18:13:40 UTC
LFS has been dead for a long time, the old revision of apr have been removed.
This fix probably isn't needed anymore, and the fix is well documented in many
places.
