When booted into KDE the hotkeys do not switch to the TTY anymore. Reproducible: Always
I'm seeing this issue as well. Strangely if I boot with "nogui" kernel parameter from GRUB, to prevent SDDM autostart, then manually restart the display-manager service, everything functions as expected.
This seems to work fine now on livegui-amd64-20240225T170409Z.iso, I suspect this was another race or conflict between the livecd-tools tty autlogin on tty1-6 and the sddm autologin on tty2. Let me know if this is still a problem for you on the latest livegui mentioned above.
