I just tried several times to merge the GMP library, but no matter what I try,
the installed version of the library does not include the C++ library,
libgmpxx.so. I checked manually, using ebuild, and it seems that the "make
install" process of GMP does not install it, even though the library clearly is
build and sits in the .libs directory. I have no idea why this is happening ...
Could someone of you guys please look into that?

This seems to be fixed in the newer releases of this gmp.
