Description Julien Trolet 2005-05-08 18:12:44 UTC
The Position option that permits relative placement (eg relative to CENTER) is forgotten when the apps file is saved by fluxbox. (when you change your settings or use save on close.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Add an entry in the apps file
[app] (fbrun)
  [position] (CENTER) {0,0}
[end]
2. Start fluxbox
3. run fbrun and move it then use the remember menu to save the Workspace

Actual Results:
the apps file has an entry [position] {0,0}
and the next time you start fluxbox (or restart it) when you run fbrun it
appears in the top left corner

Expected Results:
the position shouldn't have been changed.

Could you send this upstream please? I'd prefer to keep the amount of local modification to a minimum.

accepted fix from upstream, please do report such things directly to upstream, it has nothing to do with gentoo and its waste of time for the gentoo-guys to pester with non-gentoo-related problems
