i have emerged mplayerplug-in (2.80) but Firefox crash.

/usr/libexec/mozilla-launcher: line 547: 12948 Segmentation fault      (core dumped) "$mozbin" "$@"
firefox-bin exited with non-zero status (139)

i have subsistute my emerged mplayerplug-in with a precompiled mplayerplug-in for debian-ppc and Firefox NOT crash.

You'll need to provide your emerge info as well as describe the problem a little bit more since I can't replicate the problem here on ppc.

Which version of firefox?  

Did you strace to see where it was segfaulting?

Was it on startup?  Or when watching a movie?

User claims the problem is with his glibc, closing bug as invalid.
