After emerge -Du world libast-0.6.1 is installed but then Eterm fails with 

Eterm: error while loading shared libraries: libast.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

emerge eterm restores libast-0.5-r2 again.

sorry, meant to move newer eterm to stable too but forgot :x
