!!! If you need support, post the topmost build error, NOT this status message.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. I try to emerge lshw.
2. The process fails immediately.
3.

Actual Results:
The compilation fails.

Expected Results:
It should compile.

I tried to disable all related USE flags (gtk) and got the same result.

Utility to list hardware on your machine is _not_ a blocker.
Comment 2 Xavier Rival 2005-05-05 06:07:40 UTC
A utility for listing hardware on my machine would allow me to set up cleanly the right drivers and maybe get some of it working, so that I could eventually use it. This is my definition of what blocker is.

Use lspci/lsusb :p
Comment 4 SpanKY gentoo-dev 2005-05-05 07:13:12 UTC
it's probably because of your CXXFLAGS, but i dont know becaues you neglected to post `emerge info` like the bug report page told you to

You have totally invalid C[XX]FLAGS...
