https://learn.netdata.cloud/docs/configuring/securing-netdata-agents/anonymous-telemetry-events#opt-out explains how to disable anonymous statistics. IMHO this should be the default after a fresh installation.
Just go by option 1 and place a file called .opt-out-from-anonymous-statistics into /etc/netdata.

Reproducible: Always
