Description Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-04 15:05:50 UTC
I have recently switched to gnome-2.10 (~x86 profile) but the apps covered by the gnome-control-center ebuild do not work.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. compile gnome-2.10
2. launch gnome-font-viewer or shares-admin
3. it stops here

Actual Results:
apps are segfaulting or return due to a critical error (symbol not present)

su ~ $ shares-admin
shares-admin: symbol lookup error: shares-admin: undefined symbol:
gnome_app_set_contents

su ~ $ gnome-font-viewer /usr/share/fonts/TTF/Vera.ttf
segfaults

the only aoo I have found working (from the administration menu) is boot-admin

Comment 1 Gilles Dartiguelongue (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-05 15:21:21 UTC
In fact it was just the fault of some LDFLAGS. recompiled control-center, gnome-system-tools and some dependencies and it works again.

I let you close the bug with the right resolution flag.
