Description Sander Balkenende 2002-10-14 16:32:42 UTC
Hi, when doing an update I get the message that several config files in
/usr/kde/3.1/share/config need to be updated. But when I do a etc-update, these
files are not found. I think the following will clearify all:
######
>>> Regenerating /etc/ld.so.cache...
>>> app-misc/bonnie++-1.02c-r1 merged.

 * GNU info directory index is up-to-date.
 * IMPORTANT: 6 config files in /usr/kde/3.1/share/config need updating.
 * Type emerge --help config to learn how to update config files.

herman keramik # etc-update
Scanning Configuration files...
Exiting: No files to work on!
######

System is a totally up to date gentoo 1.4rc1 installation, running on an athlon
XP.

This has already been fixed in cvs. Should be in >=portage-2.0.40.
