Glad to see that somebody else has this problem. See my bug report 77285. I have made a custom ebuild (of sorts - I couldn't hack the Makefile to get it to install in the right place) and I've listed it on that bug report. I actually couldn't get the "official" sarg to compile on amd64. Probably the best solution is for somebody who knows something about making ebuilds to upgrade sarg to the latest version.
now I use srg, but still waiting for normal sarg :)
(In reply to comment #2) > now I use srg, but still waiting for normal sarg :) 2.0.8 is in portage... see if that fixes the problem
yep, 2.0.8 working. mark it stable :)
should we close the bug then?
yes. you may close it.
well then :)
Hold on a second. As far as I can see, sarg-1.4.1-r2 is still marked stable on amd64. sarg-2.0.8 has not existed long enough for us to mark it stable, but I think we should at least mark sarg-1.4.1-r1 -amd64 if it is known not work.
Sounds good.
marked it stable, 30 days are over, no amd64-specific bugs and there's no maintainer arch to wait for :/
