Can you try get a bt for completeness?

I think I've seen a similar problem some time before, but right now I can't reproduce this from a fresh systemd stage3. (I'm using linux-next so not sure if bumping your kernel version to at least 6.5 would help; I see 6.4 in the emerge --info output.)

(I'm using linux-next so not > sure if bumping your kernel version to at least 6.5 would help; I see 6.4 in > the emerge --info output.) I just tested this on kernel 6.5.5 and it still occurs.
This still reproduces for me even in a fresh stage3 on kernel 6.6.0.
Triage: I still cannot reproduce with go-bootstrap 1.20.14. Is the bug still present on your hardware? If so, knowing the hardware model would help. I suspect it's a 3A5000 (LA464 uarch) and the Go compiler emitting less dbar's than necessary due to errata.

Yes, this is a 3A5000. I have all the kernel configs related to LSX turned on, is there anything else needed?
I still cannot reproduce on a Loongson 3C5000L (same uarch as 3A5000). Would you provide your kernel config for confirming this is indeed code-related?
Created attachment 918858 [details] kernel config Sure, here's the kernel config. I was pretty sure you had ssh access to this machine - if not, ping me in #isa-sandbox, should be able to look at it yourself then.
Update based on debugging with xen0n: This is due to the sysctl vm.mmap_min_addr, which on my system was somehow set to 98304. For loong, the max supported is 65536. The default value here is controlled by CONFIG_DEFAULT_MMAP_MIN_ADDR, which is set incorrectly in my kernel config. Changing it to 65536 resolves the issue.
