Description Patrick Lauer gentoo-dev 2005-05-02 11:46:19 UTC
Upgraded to evo 2.2.
Most filters (move all mail from mailinglist foo to directory foo etc.) are existant but don't do anything.
Recreating the filter works about 50% of the time (filtering gentoo-dev to a directory works, filtering gentoo-core doesn't)

gnarf.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.upgrade to evo 2.2
2. create mail filters
3. receive mail
4. aargh

Actual Results:
most mails get dropped in Inbox even if there are multiple filters that should
move the mail somewhere else

Expected Results:
work correctly ;-)

Comment 1 Nathaniel McCallum (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-05-27 20:20:57 UTC
Are you still experiencing this with evo 2.2.1.1?
Comment 2 Stian Skjelstad 2005-06-28 03:37:43 UTC
I sometimes see this in 2.2.1.1, I'll get the header of the next email it
happens with (not often, but sometimes)
Comment 3 Stian Skjelstad 2005-06-28 04:17:44 UTC
This header line is not recognized:

Mailing-List: contact dev-help@XXXXXXXXXX.no; run by ezmlm
Comment 4 Stian Skjelstad 2005-06-28 04:18:26 UTC
And this one is not recognized:

Delivered-To: mailing list dev@XXXXXXXXXX.no
Comment 5 Daniel Gryniewicz (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-11-01 12:24:23 UTC
If you select the message, and tell evo to filter it (ctrl-y), does it filter?
I have this problem with one particular (badly configured) imap server. It
works fine with all the rest of my mail.
Comment 6 Patrick Lauer gentoo-dev 2005-11-02 07:28:49 UTC
If I delete all existing filters and then recreate them they work for me.
Sucky, but it's not a bug in the filtering itself but in the upgrading.
Comment 7 Mike Gardiner (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-01-24 08:16:35 UTC
I'm not sure if we can still check this to reproduce, but 2.4.2 should be stable now, so reopen if this exists when upgrading to 2.4.2.
