Description Sam James archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2023-08-11 02:47:16 UTC
licenses/BSL-1.1 currently seems to be https://github.com/zerotier/ZeroTierOne/blob/dev/LICENSE.txt verbatim.

The copy in licenses/BSL-1.1 added in e654dd06963a356f31fb80817b3854b139882532 (August 2019) has:
>Change Date: 2023-01-01

The latest version of zerotier in tree, however, is far newer than this, which makes the Change Date inaccurate.

This also brings questions to my mind about how to handle BSL in general, given the Change Date and Change License for it always matters and isn't just boilerplate.

The change date isn't part of the license, so it doesn't belong in the license file.

Maybe best to record it as a comment near the LICENSE variable in the ebuild?
