Note that the original reporter was using openssl on ppc64 while I was using libressl on x86_64. While we are failing at the same place may or may not be for the same reason.

While you are failing on a different issue entirely, perhaps because you are using clang?

build.log USE=test, CC=gcc

I am able to confirm that it also fails while using gcc. However, it appears that in the tests ran it is able to resolve the necessary urls. Meaning that the error has likely nothing to do with libressl?
Comment 5 blucybrb14de 2024-10-30 17:52:28 UTC
Or rather it does not resolve them, but that trust path navigation works, as well as ticket granting ticket works while using LibreSSL 4.0.0.
