Description Harald Kubota 2002-10-14 09:46:43 UTC
xfs_info works when booting from the installation CD, but for xfsdump and
xfsrestore a library libattr.so is missing. Cannot be found anywhere on the CD,
including the stage-1 tar file.

For the upcoming 1.4 release, please install it. Very handy to back up partitions.

It's also missing /usr/lib/libdm.so.1. Daniel, this was the issue I was discussing in -dev
today. It's still present on the latest test iso you distributed today. Since this impedes
critical functionality (the ability to backup/resore your xfs partitions from an emergency
disk), it should be elevated to a "critical" bug.

This is now fixed on the "2002122100" iso at
http://www.gentoo.org/dyn/experimental/livecd/. Thanks for the bug report! :)
