I often open lots of tabs when doing Gentoo maintenance on my system. Oftentimes I open the webpage for some packages to see important info (test versions, flags, etc.) and also pages for the forum, the handbook, etc. It would be really nice if all the pages use slightly different favicons. For example: * p.g.o. use a deeper background, e.g. #6751BD * forums.g.o. use a brighter background, e.g. #A788FF * bugs.g.o. use a redder background, e.g. #BF56E3 * etc. Note: The above values are gleaned by using the color #745cd6 as the base, which seems to visually be the median / average color of the orginal favicon.ico (the original favicon.ico uses a gradient background), and feed the value to Ad*be's "Color Wheel" online tool, and choosing the "Analogous" and "Shades" options in LAB mode, with some slight tuning to increase visual difference. Using different favicons for different g.o. subsites will greatly help multitabbers like me to quickly identify which tabs are which at a glance. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a webpage under p.g.o, f.g.o, b.g.o, and so forth Actual Results: The favicons are the same, or if they are not, they are still visually indistinguishable from one another. Expected Results: The favicons of different g.o. subdomains should be similar but visually distinguishable.
