In the kernel included for the livecd in for IA64, CONFIG_SCSI_HPSA is not set. All HP Itanium blades require this to be enabled to allow for the livecd to see any disks in the machine.

In my testing, I used install-ia64-minimal-20230719T033144Z.iso.
