I had successfully built this version of KiCad on another host, but an attempt today to build the same version on my notebook failed.  Furthermore, the host that had previously successfully built KiCad won't do so now.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. sudo emerge -1 kicad
2.
3.
Actual Results:  
stops with an error

Expected Results:  
compiles successfully

Rolling back to 7.0.2 won't work either.  Log files, etc. to be attached shortly.

Trying to rebuild now with >=x11-libs/wxGTK-3.2.2.1-r3 masked and downgraded to -r2...
