When creating a contact with a birthday and anniversary in the same month (different years), the Monthly calendar view shows them as occurring on the birthday. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.Create a new contact. 2.Specify the birthday to be 8/15/1935. 3.Specify the anniversary to be 8/31/1956. 4.Go to the Calendar monthly view (enable birthdays/anniversaries if necessary) and find August 15. Actual Results: The contact's birthday and anniversary are displayed on 8/15, but only in Month and List views. The anniversary is nowhere to be found in other views. Expected Results: The birthday should be displayed on 8/15 and the anniversary on 8/31 in all views. emerge info follows: Portage 2.0.51.19 (default-linux/x86/2005.0, gcc-3.3.5-20050130, glibc-2.3.4.20041102-r1, 2.6.11-ck4 i686) ================================================================= System uname: 2.6.11-ck4 i686 Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 2.40GHz Gentoo Base System version 1.6.11 Python: dev-lang/python-2.3.5 [2.3.5 (#1, Apr 28 2005, 19:41:05)] dev-lang/python: 2.3.5 sys-apps/sandbox: [Not Present] sys-devel/autoconf: 2.59-r6, 2.13 sys-devel/automake: 1.7.9-r1, 1.8.5-r3, 1.5, 1.4_p6, 1.6.3, 1.9.5 sys-devel/binutils: 2.15.92.0.2-r7 sys-devel/libtool: 1.5.16 virtual/os-headers: 2.6.8.1-r2 ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="x86" AUTOCLEAN="yes" CFLAGS="-O3 -pipe -mcpu=i686 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer" CHOST="i686-pc-linux-gnu" CONFIG_PROTECT="/etc /usr/kde/2/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/env /usr/kde/3.3/share/config /usr/kde/3.3/shutdown /usr/kde/3.4/env /usr/kde/3.4/share/config /usr/kde/3.4/shutdown /usr/kde/3/share/config /usr/lib/X11/xkb /usr/lib/mozilla/defaults/pref /usr/share/config /usr/share/texmf/dvipdfm/config/ /usr/share/texmf/dvips/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/generic/config/ /usr/share/texmf/tex/platex/config/ /usr/share/texmf/xdvi/ /var/qmail/control" CONFIG_PROTECT_MASK="/etc/gconf /etc/terminfo /etc/env.d" CXXFLAGS="-O3 -pipe -mcpu=i686 -march=pentium4 -fomit-frame-pointer" DISTDIR="/usr/portage/distfiles" FEATURES="autoaddcvs autoconfig candy ccache distlocks sandbox sfperms strict" GENTOO_MIRRORS="http://mirror.datapipe.net/gentoo http://mirror.datapipe.net/gentoo http://mirrors.acm.cs.rpi.edu/gentoo/ http://mirrors.tds.net/gentoo http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/gentoo/" LANG="en_US" LC_ALL="en_US" LINGUAS="en" MAKEOPTS="-j2" PKGDIR="/usr/portage/packages" PORTAGE_TMPDIR="/var/tmp" PORTDIR="/usr/portage" PORTDIR_OVERLAY="/usr/local/portage" SYNC="rsync://rsync.us.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage" USE="x86 X aalib acpi alsa apm audiofile avi berkdb bitmap-fonts cdparanoia cdr clisp crypt cups curl directfb divx4linux dvd dvdr dvdread eds emboss encode esd f77 fam fbcon fbdev flac foomaticdb fortran gcj gd gdbm gif gimpprint glx gnome gpm gtk gtk2 gtkhtml i8x0 imagemagick imlib java jpeg junit kde ldap libg++ libwww mad mikmod mmx mmx2 mng motif mozilla mozsvg mp3 mpeg mysql nas ncurses nls nvidia offensive ogg oggvorbis ooo-kde opengl oss pam pcre pda pdflib perl png ppds python qt quicktime readline real rtc samba sdl slang speex spell sse sse2 ssl svga tcltk tcpd theora tiff truetype truetype-fonts type1-fonts unicode userlocales vorbis wmf xfs xine xinerama xml xml2 xmms xprint xscreensaver xv xvid zlib linguas_en userland_GNU kernel_linux libc_glibc" Unset: ASFLAGS, CBUILD, CTARGET, LDFLAGS
Fixed in 2.2.1.1; behavior is now consistent with upstream bug: http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=271592
