Starting evince from terminal prints 'Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"'

After installing media-libs/libcanberra, the error goes away

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. uninstall media-libs/libcanberra
2. build evince as follows: USE="djvu postscript" emerge --ask evince
3. start evince from terminal, and observe this error
Actual Results:  
'Failed to load module "canberra-gtk-module"' is printed

Expected Results:  
should not print anything

installing media-libs/libcanberra makes the error go away
