What about Kexi?
Comment 10 Christian Stoitner 2005-05-05 13:04:48 UTC
i had trouble compiling krita and i think kexi will be even more work(there are many different db backends to build i think...).

maybe ill give it another try at the weekend, but i have some things that want to be done too.

Hey guys I would like to test these out but it seems that the kword and kspread
ebuilds are corrupted. Could you guys either repost them or email me the
ebuilds? Thank you.
Comment 12 Gregorio Guidi (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-03 08:44:37 UTC
I just committed the ebuilds for 1.4_rc1, both the single koffice ebuild and
the split ebuilds.

They are in package.mask, so that we can freely test them and play with them
until 1.4 is released.

kde herd: note that this includes an ebuild for app-office/kexi, which
obsoletes dev-db/kexi (which has quite an old version, not stable on any
arch).
The kexi author will continue to release kexi also separate from koffice,
anyway, following the policy with the other kde ebuilds, I think we can just
decide to ship the kexi that comes with koffice, removing dev-db/kexi soon
after koffice-1.4 gets unmasked.

However, there's still time to figure it out.
