trying to setup fbsplash (splashutils) is working well, but I get to the point I want to emerge bootsplash-themes to use with fbsplash. I know an app named bootsplash2fbsplash is installed with splashutils to handle bootsplash-themes content. I can use the --nodeps option, but I would like a more permanent solution for this (a virtual maybe ?) so I can not worry about updates Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge splashutils 2. emerge bootsplash-themes Actual Results: These are the packages that I would merge, in order: Calculating dependencies ...done! This has been fixed in bootsplash-themes-20040821-r1. A more detailed explanation of the changes introduced in this new version can be found in comment 10 of bug #64314.
