Description George Garvey 2005-04-30 09:09:11 UTC
I don't have PCMCIA compiled into my kernel. I don't want PCMCIA.

Yet:

emerge -auDvt world

These are the packages that I would merge, in reverse order:

Calculating world dependencies ...done!
[nomerge ] media-video/nvidia-glx-1.0.7174-r3
[nomerge ] media-video/nvidia-kernel-1.0.7174
[ebuild N ] sys-apps/pcmcia-cs-3.2.5-r3 +apm -build -nocardbus +pnp +trusted 0 kB

Total size of downloads: 0 kB

Do you want me to merge these packages? [Yes/No] n

Quitting.

There is no problem. This was my mistake. I had the pcmcia use flag set in make.conf.
