Description Tina 2023-06-09 10:46:01 UTC
The package, installs fine but at runtime when I run eid-viewer , I get error

(eid-viewer:30416): GLib-GIO-ERROR **: 12:40:48.892: Settings schema 'be.belgium.eid.eid-viewer' does not contain a key named 'check-update'
Trace/breakpoint trap

strange thing is if I look at /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/eid-viewer.gschema.xml

<key name="check-update" type="b"> is there
So any idea what is going wrong here?

Kind regards Tina

I cannot reproduce this problem.
I checked that /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/gschemas.compiled file is well updated after Install and after remove eid-mw.

Is the problem fixed if you re-emerge eid-mw ? And are there any error messages during install ?
If not, what says :
# glib-compile-schemas /usr/share/glib-2.0/schemas/
Is the problem fixed with this command ?
