I had some trouble upgrading world following the plasma profile update of 21 May. In the news item I did not find the change which is required. It is however mentioned in an earlier news item, I found out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.add media-sound/pulseaudio --daemon to /etc/package.use 2.update @world 3.
daemon isn't enabled by default on pulseaudio that I can see, I'd assume that you have it enabled and maybe forgot about it
Actually, I can't quite make sense of what is the issue here. Portage output may help, but I don't think it's something most users are hitting and would require action on this side.
Probably you were right. I did have it in package.use I remember, following an earlier advice. Forget about it. Thx!
