Noting that Speex actually made it into portage for a few days, but I have now
masked it. There are issues with gcc3 that are currently being worked on, and
the ebuild needs to be tweaked to handle the docs properly.

No pressure, but I'd like some feedback before I can commit this. I still can't
get it to work. If it is opperational for you, and there's some trick to it..
please let me know. Otherwise this looks like it *could* be a neat piece of
software.

ACK! Sorry, my last comment was intended for a different bug.

/me bangs his head on the keyboard.

Looks like beta2 has been released. I'm told some of my issues with gcc should
be resolved so I'll give this a look when I get home. (The machine having issues
with speex is home :( )
Comment 6 Rigo 2002-11-05 02:53:14 UTC
Just tested beta2 on gcc 3.2 and it finally compiles beautifully...

Comment 9 Matt Keadle 2002-11-13 18:01:52 UTC
this has been bumped.

'Speex' is now known as 'speex' and has jumped to beta3

rebug if you have further problems
