Description Stephen Boulet 2002-10-13 04:31:14 UTC
"kile" emerged without any problem. When it launches, it crashes immediately:

$ kile
KCrash: crashing.... crashRecursionCounter = 2
KCrash: Application Name = kile path = <unknown> pid = 23942
Comment 1 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-17 13:49:43 UTC
which version of kile is installed? if it's kile-1.1, please unmask and try kile-1.3_beta.
Comment 2 Stephen Boulet 2002-10-18 00:13:18 UTC
That's just what I did. Version 1.3_beta seems to be much better.

Maybe 1.1 should be masked if it doesn't work?

Comment 3 Dan Armak (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-18 02:39:11 UTC
The new version is only masked because it was committed during the freeze. I'll
change its status to testing (~x86 keyword) now; use ACCEPT_KEYWORDS="~x86" for
portage to see it as unmasked.
Comment 4 Hannes Mehnert (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2002-10-24 11:15:16 UTC
"unmasked" kile-1.3_beta (added x86 keyword)
