From gstreamer team: maybe now is time to make gstreamer 0.8.9 stable on amd64 and all the gst-plugins 0.8.8 stable on amd64. They work well on my amd64 box and I use them heavily for streaming Dan: yah its unfortunate, flac changed its ABI in a minor release hence gst-plugins 0.8.7 only works with 1.1.0 and gst-plugins 0.8.8 with >= 1.1.1.
