Description Leonid Kopylov 2023-05-07 18:20:48 UTC
dev-db/firebird seems to install fine - https://bugs.gentoo.org/905891

unmasking "firebird" use flag - libreoffice installed - works without any issue.

i also tried to enable al LIBREOFFICE_EXTENSIONS - also seems no issues

firebird USE flag for libreoffice still masked, though firebird already keyworded

Yeah, more of a "depends on", I guess.

postgres USE flag also can be unmasked. according to notes:

"USE=postgres requires dev-db/postgresql[kerberos] (USE masked)"

but i have it installed with USE=kerberos:
# emerge dev-db/postgresql -pvq
[ebuild R ] dev-db/postgresql-15.2 USE="doc icu kerberos ldap lz4 nls pam perl python readline server ssl systemd tcl threads uuid xml zlib zstd -debug -llvm (-selinux) -static-libs" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_11 -python3_10"

i believe same for "mask app-office/libreoffice java extensions" - that i enabled just for testing - and everything installed without any issue
# emerge libreoffice -pvq
[ebuild R ] app-office/libreoffice-7.5.3.2 USE="accessibility base bluetooth branding cups dbus firebird googledrive gstreamer gtk java kde ldap mariadb odk pdfimport postgres -clang (-coinmp) -custom-cflags -debug (-eds) -test -vulkan" LIBREOFFICE_EXTENSIONS="nlpsolver scripting-beanshell scripting-javascript wiki-publisher" PYTHON_SINGLE_TARGET="python3_11 -python3_10"
