amap-5.0
- lvalues patch isnt needed anymore coz the problem was fixed in this version
- I couldnt test gcc4 :( thats why im not including the patch... but it seems the code need to be changed is in amap-lib.c now...

Marco, FYI always check if the previous patch will apply to the current version (this version is the first that does in a while I think) to avoid adding unnecessary clutter to the tree.

The gcc4 patch needed to be redone (that code is in a diff file now), and I fixed all the 'differ in signedness' warnings while I was at it.  compiler warnings are a pet peeve of mine :)
