The Parrot VM was originally intended to be the Perl 6 (Raku) virtual machine. This role is now fulfilled by dev-lang/moarvm (MoarVM). According to the upstream page[1] the last commit was 2017-10-02 and the project officially wound down on 2021-08-25.

There are no reverse dependencies. Removing this package has no impact on the dev-lang/rakudo (Raku) ebuild.
