Abuse SDL - package name games-action/abuse_sdl, builds and runs successfully on sparc64, yet has no sparc or ~sparc keyword. I haven't tested on sparc32 as I have no sparc32 hardware and it is likely that it would be too slow to run on a sparc32 machine anyway. The package builds successfully by using ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=x86 Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: # emerge abuse_sdl Actual Results: !!! All ebuilds that could satisfy "abuse_sdl" have been masked. games-action/abuse_sdl-0.7.0-r2 (masked by: missing keyword) Note, this isn't the exact text as I can't get copy and paste working between firefox and xterm, but it should be close enough in content to resolve the issue. Expected Results: built and installed, as with ACCEPT_KEYWORDS=x86 By the way is there an easier way to report/fix these issues, do I need to include this much detail in each bug report or is there a more streamlined way to do this as it seems a pretty common problem. I'm currently testing as many games as possible on my Ultrasparc 100, it would be nice if I could do these reports quicker as there's probably going to be a lot of them as I test packages.
I would say that all you really need to do is say "blah works on sparc" and what you did to get it to work. If it is *just* KEYWORDS, then just say it works. If it is like "blah works on sparc, but I first had to keyword foo" then say so. You definitely want to let us know what versions you tested (just one? all of them?). Other than that, there really isn't much else we need to know.
...and with my sparc out of commission due to my move, I can't verify/test, so reassigning to sparc.
~sparc keyword added. Builds and runs for me. Thanks for the report.
