Description Greg Loscombe 2005-04-25 02:40:12 UTC
Still using the full installer, just bumped up the version.
There is a commented out Rdepend on ET 2.60 (as I think ETF 1.3 doesn't work with ET 2.56) - if there is an ebuild done for 2.56 seperate (noticed someone asking for it on the forum) this might be needed.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:

1.4 will come out in a few days, according to http://www.etfgame.com/

Anyone got a 1.4 ebuild?

It should be very similar to 1.3, but there's a few files that I don't really
recognize, and unfortunately, I'm away from my dev box.

Fortress 1.4 ebuild

et-2.60 seems needed to run 1.4 (on their website)

Very few change from 1.2 : filename and tgz name (as in 1.3)

OK... I understood that much for creating the new ebuild, but there are other
files and other tarballs in the makeself package. What do they do? Are they
needed? What if you install from the makeself rather than via the ebuild?

That was the information I really needed. Sorry if I wasn't clear before.

...thanks for the overwhelming response, guys...

Anyway, I've added this to portage, as is... if there's a problem with it due to
the missing tarballs... well, don't say I didn't ask.
