*Please* guys, if you feel the need to remove a package version from Portage, at least update the ChangeLog to say why it's gone - If it's a security issue, then I need to know to downgrade my installed version to the older one.

That was actually edonkey-1.0.2 incorrectly named as overnet. It was not removed, it was simply renamed to make room for the actual overnet only command line client.

"emerge edonkey" to get the edonkey/overnet hybrid

Okay - thanks for the info.  But perhaps a note in the ChangeLog to say that that's why it changed, so that we don't confuse people too much? :)

please read the einfo after installingn overnet-1.0.1, it was moved to edonkey-1.0.2 because it really was edonkey and not overnet
