Bug 90204 – rsync mirror 206.251.252.55 (gentoo.ccccom.com) is waaaaaaay out of date

i use rsync://rsync.namerica.gentoo.org/gentoo-portage to sync one of my slow boxes and after waiting forever to update i found out the sob used an outdated mirror !

things that tipped me off:
outdated linux-headers-2.6.11.ebuild KEYWORDS
no nano-1.3.7.ebuild
timestamp says 'Mar 29'

$ rm -f timestamp
$ rsync -q rsync://206.251.252.32/gentoo-portage/metadata/timestamp .
$ cat timestamp
Tue Mar 29 16:08:34 UTC 2005

Any idea on this mirror being so way out of date?

I've removed you from the rsync.namerica.gentoo.org rotation for the time being.

Been a while. I've removed your ACL and dns entry from rsync22.us.gentoo.org.
Plesae file a new big if you wish to become an rsync mirror again.

Could we reopen/fix this.
It seems that the server is still in the rsync rotation.
