When I try to emerge lazarus I get the following error:

Makefile:154: *** The Makefile doesn't support target , please run fpcmake first.  Stop.

I have installed fpc-source and fpc (version 2.0.0_rc2)
If you need more information please let me know.

check your /etc/fpc.cfg is the latest version

additionally, there is a note in the fpc ebuild that should tell you to do so, if needed...

Lazarus 0.9.10 in portage, please give the new one a spin since it uses a newer
and better fpc too.
