We currently have 37 backslashes in the line with the Exec key:
https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/tree/x11-misc/emacs-desktop-mail/emacs-desktop-mail-1.1.ebuild#n42

That's too ugly for my taste, so let me think about this a little before we call the ebuild stable.
