Description Martin Ammermüller 2005-04-21 06:47:30 UTC
pdf-attachments get the MIME-type "text/plain" instead of "application/pdf". mutt doesn't show this behaviour. muttng version is "muttng-20050325".

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start muttng
2. write new mail
3. attach a pdf-file to the mail
Actual Results:
the pdf-attachment got the MIME-type "text/plain" instead of "application/pdf"
which lets mutt open the attachment with the internal pager instead of an
pdf-viewer when iam trying to view the attachment. This leads also to problems
with other mail-clients.

Expected Results:
attach the pdf-file with the correct MIME-type "application/pdf".

Hello Martin. What contains your ~/.mime.types file? Have you a
muttng-mime.types?

Alain, it was a bug in muttng. It was fixed in yesterdays snapshot.

Aron, can i bump muttng?

I tested todays muttng snapshot. Works like a charm. Changing Resolution to Later, because this was a snapshot of the still not released muttng.
