Remove acl USE flags from samba-3.0.12 and samba-3.0.13 (Samba bug #2521) 3.0.11 is fine, and when the samba-3.0.14a gets in portage, this is suppose to be fine too.
Please, use some meaningful summary next time. Thanks.
I will use some more time to fill out the bug report in the future with additional information. Sorry about that!
hmm, then maybe it's better to bring back 3.0.11 and remove 3.0.13 -- I'll look into it, unless the samba boys do it first.
I have tried the 3.0.12 and 3.0.13 and they are broken for sure. I reverted immediately to 3.0.11 since my mailbox was filled with user complaints :-)
Instead of bringing 3.0.11 (and its dependecies) back, I used the new (and very good :-) ) 3.0.14a ebuild schema for a 'new' 3.0.11. All tests done were successful. Please reopen if needed.
Christian, I know the 3.0.14a is suppose to work perfectly with ACL support. But this doesn't make 3.0.13 any better :-) In my opinion (same as Seemant) bring back 3.0.11 and remove 3.0.13. There is no need to get people into trouble with their ACL based system(s). So finally 3.0.10|11|14a
Yes, I know :-) I was't referring to acl tests, but to the installation of 3.0.11 with seemant's (good) schema. 3.0.13 is deleted since yesterday.
