I've tried to launch gramps in wayland session, but see only this in stderr:

The error you have quoted comes from Gtk+. Are you one hundred percent sure that you have got everything in your system set for Wayland? Gramps itself should not depend on X, as attested to by the fact it can be run under Windows as well.

That system configuration on which I found an error is already lost. Today I tried to install gramps to study the error, but I did not succeed, the grams starts without this error. So, I'm sorry, I can't reproduce the error...
