Description unclepeas 2005-04-19 08:42:39 UTC
The apcupsd ebuild fails every time at the same spot. This also happens with 3.10.16-r3, with the same patch error. I've removed /usr/portage/sys-power/apcupsd, and re-sync'd but the error remains the same.

Note that this is similar to bug 26354 and bug 40021. I'd reopen one of them, but I'm not allowed :(

I found the problem:

I had a fake /etc/redhat-release file to fool another app into thinking it was building on a redhat system. I removed the file, and the emerge works with no problems.

The part of the previously attached output where it's shows the redhat-release file is messing up the "host" and "Host and version" configs (from autoconf?):

Configuration on Tue Apr 19 09:39:01 MDT 2005:

great, going to close the bug as the problem no longer exists
