Description Randall 2023-02-25 01:36:36 UTC
Recently, I updated by sys-apps/systemd to 253. Upon reboot, I was met with a message from GDM saying it couldn't find the Home directory for my user. For insight, I have a separate partition for users' home directories, usually mounted automatically by systemd-gpt-auto-generator. Upon inspection, I could mount the partition manually without any issues. So I tried rolling back to 252.6, which seems to have fixed the issue.

Therefore, it would seem >=sys-apps/systemd-253 has introduced a regression that broke the functionality of systemd-gpt-auto-generator.
