Description Kim Pedersen 2005-04-18 09:07:00 UTC
I think that the documentation should reflect that e100 is in the kernel, and does not need to be compiled.

See this link where D. Drake mentions the same:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=77396

And this backup link where M. Holzer mentions that e100 is included in the 2.6 kernel:
http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=67594

As mentioned in the first of the links, the phrase "If appropriate..." is not very informative.

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Marked e100/e1000 as being 2.4-kernels only (modules, that is).

Thanks for reporting.
