ksvg-5 ebuild fails to check for its required dependancy fontconfig     
also it still tries to install if fontconfig is not found and build is 
unsuccessful 
i assume the same problems exist for lcms  
     
You're missing some libs, therefore KSVG will not be compiled.     
If you want to compile KSVG you should install:     
  * lcms (http://www.littlecms.com/)     
  * fontconfig 1.0.1 or newer (http://fontconfig.org)

this is not the same bug as bug 8959  8954 is that the ebuild still installs if the dependancies are not found. this is an ebuild bug. 8959 is that the dependancies are not found and used even if they -are- installed. this is probably a makefile bug.

I've uploaded a new kde-cvs tarball that fixes these problems; ksvg now depends on fontconfig and locates lcms properly. It compiles, but doens't run here. Looks like an upstream source error, and since it's in kdenonbeta I won't even submit a report unless it persists for a few days. Anyway, this bugreport can be closed.
