Description Martin Mokrejš 2023-02-12 17:55:09 UTC
I have the package installed under older python version but oth current ebuild require 3.10 or 3.11, none of which I have. This causes emerge to block unnecessarily. Thank you.

I don't think we're really interested in adding py3.9 back to software unless we really need to, given we're dropping it in a few months.

I am hardly trying to get rid of 3.8 and provided I have disabled >=3.10 to avoid even more mess, I cannot proceed.

If you need help, you should go to one of the user support venues we have.

Thank you. No, I uninstalled it. But still I think as long as 3.9 is in the list of supported versions the ebuild should list it (as long as the software itself can run under that).
